What You’ll Do
As a Billing Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in managing insurance claims and ensuring reimbursement processes run efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies accurately and on time
Monitoring claims for denials, rejections, and underpayments
Following up with insurance payers to resolve outstanding or denied claims
Working closely with AR and Payment Posting teams to ensure account accuracy
Communicating with families as needed to clarify billing questions
What You’ll Bring
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of billing experience in a healthcare or ABA setting
Experience with CentralReach is a plus (but not required—we’re happy to train!)
Strong knowledge of CPT codes, modifiers, and insurance payer requirements
Familiarity with clearinghouses and EDI submissions
Excellent organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail
